Indonesian government and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) states are continuing their negotiation to discuss future comprehensive economic cooperation between the two countries. Enterprises must submit shares of their competitors
Enterprises now must submit information on market share of their competitors while making M&A notification and consultation to KPPU. This requirement is introduce by the KPPU Decree No. 2/2013 on the amendment of KPPU Decree No. 13/2010 on M&A's guidance, issued in 5 April 2013. Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU) or Indonesia competition commission has declared the existence of bid rigging activity in the procurement for development of two buildings at the Southeast Sumatera Public Hospital. Two contractors, namely Wastika Karya Corp (Waskita) and AdhiKarya Corp (Adhi), and the bid committee are suspected forconducting sham competition. It was started in 2011 when the Southeast Sulawesi Public Hospital conducted a procurement to build two buildings, (i) Class 1 and VIP’s Treatment Building, and (ii) Service Building.
