Commission of the supervision for Business Competition as an institution that authorized to supervise business competition in Republic of Indonesia always trying to increase their performance. One of activities undertaken to increase the performance is to make cooperation with related institutions.

On Wednesday, March 24, 2010 placed at Central building of Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (INTRAC), has held a meeting between KPPU and INTRAC. From KPPU led by Mrs. Kurnia Sya’ranie as an Expert Legal Staff accompanied by Mohammad Reza, F.Y. Andriyanto and Dedi Sani Ardi and from INTRAC represented by Mr. Tri Priyo as Director of Inter-Agency Cooperation Directorate accompanied by staff of INTRAC. This informal meeting is the initial step to increase cooperation between two institutions.

During the meeting Mrs. Kurnia Sya’ranie explain the duties and the authorities of KPPU, also general role of KPPU in supervising and creating fair competition. Besides, also explained the challenges and obstacles that have been experienced by KPPU in performing their duties. On the other side, Mr. Tri Priyo explain the duties and the authorities of INTRAC, also convey the experiences of cooperation that has taken by INTRAC with related institutions.

Expected in near future, the cooperation between KPPU and INTRAC may immediately accomplished.
