Along with the leadership of the KPPU as Chairman of the ASEAN Expert Group on Competition (AEGC) in 2011 and leadership of Indonesia in ASEAN in the same year, we intended to carry out initiations in the form of conference competition “The ASEAN Competition Conference (ACC)” at Padma Resort Legian, Bali, on 15 and 16 November 2011. The conference that will be attended by multi-stakeholders in ASEAN was held in cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat, AEGC, German International Cooperation (GIZ), ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA), Economic Cooperation Work Program (ECWP), and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The main theme of this year’s activities focused on “Fostering the Promotion of Competition Policy for Regional Development” in supporting the achievement of the target acceleration of competition policy in the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint (AEC Blueprint).
